Greetings from South America

Oi!

I´m currently on holiday in Brazil, and managed to find an Internet cafe amongst the sun drenched beaches, and fruity drinks, and healthy, young, hot Brazilian women, and . . . what was I talking about? Oh yeah, holiday in Brazil.

Don´t worry. This will be brief. I don´t really have a lot I can say at the moment that won´t fill up pages and pages of space, and you don´t want to hear it anyway. I wasn't even going to write about this trip, because the few accounts of people's vacations that I've read in letters or online usually turn out to be the written equivalent of vacation slides, and no one but the owner of the slides ever finds them anything but excrutiating to watch. But I wanted to check in with all you folks back home anyway. Hey, it's the least I can do.

The gist of it is, we´re having a great time so far. The weather is perfect, and the scenery is amazing! We surfed a decent beach break yesterday, and today we´re just drinking and hanging out with some locals. They don´t understand us and we don´t understand them, but that´s probably for the best. That can´t hate me if they don´t know what I´m saying, right? Eh . . . maybe they can.

Well, gonna run for now. If I get the urge and the time, I´ll report in with more details later. We´re supposed to go into Salvador tomorrow for some nightlife. We´ll see how it goes. I´m thinking it´s going to be another fun adventure.

Talk more later.
